Another Pension Increase Is Expected in January 2027
Under the current rules, the regular annual pension increase is expected to take place in January 2027.
However, the exact percentage has not yet been confirmed.
Based on the MNB's current forecast, an increase of around 2.3% is possible. Other institutions predict higher inflation, and the final January increase will depend on the expected consumer price growth specified in Hungary's 2027 budget.
For this reason, the figures above should be treated as estimates, not as a guaranteed list of pension amounts payable from January 2027.
