Chapter 4: The Forgotten Kingdom

When Adam and Daniel came out of the tunnel, they couldn't believe their eyes.

In front of them was an enormous kingdom surrounded by mountains, rivers, and beautiful gardens.

There were golden towers, magnificent castles, and streets made of white stone.

But something was strange.

The kingdom was completely empty.

There were no people, no animals, and no signs of life.

Adam walked towards the biggest castle. Suddenly, a mysterious old man appeared.

"Welcome, young travelers," he said.

"Who are you?" Daniel asked.

"I am the last guardian of this kingdom. I have been waiting for you for many years."

Adam showed him the silver necklace.

The old man's eyes filled with tears.

"That necklace... You are the descendant of the great explorer who disappeared here!"

Adam was surprised.

"Where is my great-grandfather?" he asked.

The guardian pointed towards a huge tower.

"He is waiting for you."
