Two Officers Stopped Me on a Quiet Road — Then the Item in My Pocket Ch

The officer repeated the instruction.

Victoria slowly opened the door.

She stepped onto the shoulder.

The second officer moved closer.

“Turn around.”

Victoria frowned.

“Am I being detained?”

Neither officer answered directly.

Instead, the first officer instructed her to place her hands behind her back.

Victoria was confused.

“What is happening?”

“Just cooperate.”

She complied.

A moment later, handcuffs were placed around her wrists.

They were uncomfortable, and Victoria immediately said so.

“These are too tight.”

The officer adjusted them slightly.

Victoria stood beside her vehicle, trying to remain calm.

She couldn’t understand how a simple traffic stop had reached this point.

Victoria Remembered Something

As she stood there, Victoria remembered the small object in the right pocket of her shorts.

She couldn’t reach it because her hands were behind her back.

She looked toward the officer.

“There is something in my right pocket.”

The officer looked at her.

“What is it?”

“I can’t reach it with my hands behind my back.”

“What’s in the pocket?”

Victoria hesitated.

“I need you to take it out.”

The officers exchanged a quick glance.

The second officer asked, “What exactly are you carrying?”

Victoria looked at him.

“Please just take it out carefully.”

The first officer approached.

He reached into the right pocket of Victoria’s shorts.

His hand closed around a small rectangular object.

He pulled it out.
