Chapter 8: The Return of the King
When Adam and Daniel returned to the castle, they discovered hundreds of people standing in the streets.
The kingdom's inhabitants had returned!
An old man walked towards Adam.
He had white hair, a long beard, and familiar eyes.
"Adam?" he whispered.
Adam recognized him immediately.
It was his great-grandfather!
They hugged each other, and Adam couldn't stop smiling.
The king of the kingdom organized a great celebration.
Music filled the streets, people danced, and beautiful fireworks illuminated the night sky.
The king offered Adam a golden crown and asked him to become the kingdom's new prince.
But Adam had another idea.
He wanted to return home to his grandfather and share the incredible story.
The king smiled and respected his decision.
