Chapter 2: The Journey Begins
The next morning, Adam prepared his backpack. He took some food, water, a flashlight, a compass, and the mysterious map.
Before leaving, his grandfather gave him a small golden necklace.
"This necklace belonged to your great-grandfather," he explained. "Keep it with you. It may help you one day."
Adam hugged his grandfather and began walking towards the dark mountains.
After several hours, he entered a mysterious forest. The trees were incredibly tall, and strange sounds came from everywhere.
Suddenly, he heard someone shouting for help.
"Help! Is anyone there?"
Adam followed the voice and discovered a young boy trapped near an old wooden bridge.
His name was Daniel.
Adam helped him get to safety, and Daniel explained that he was also searching for the forgotten kingdom.
"Can I come with you?" Daniel asked.
"Of course! Two friends are better than one," Adam replied.
From that moment, their adventure became a journey of friendship.
