Unwanted visits and thefts

Unwanted visits and theft
Diana would often enter my kitchen without knocking, taking what she wanted, and even throwing trash in our dumpsters because she didn’t want to pay for her own service. She would criticize me for the way I ran the house, and I tried to remain calm, even though I could feel her behavior beating me down. Years later, I began to wonder if I was really as bad a housekeeper as she had told me.

Revealing the truth
After the divorce, I thought Diana would finally move out, but she stayed. When my children went to live with their grandmother, I enjoyed the peace until I received my water bill. The amount, which was double, shocked me. After examining the entire house, I found that nothing was leaking. Until one morning, I caught her filling her swimming pool with water from my tap.

Confrontation and Consequences
When I confronted her, she laughed and claimed that we were family. But I knew that what she was doing was stealing. Her words hurt me, but I decided to stand up for myself. I remembered what she had once told me about expanding the pool without a permit. This led me to decide to inform the administration of our community.
